Bio
About Brandon
Brandon Dyke grew up in Seminole, FL. He holds both A.A. and B.S. degrees in music performance from St Petersburg Jr. College and Toccoa Falls College respectively. During his studies, he played lead guitar in the band Enconium with Dove Award winning artist Aaron Shust.
He now lives in the Greenville, SC area where he teaches guitar and plays music professionally. Brandon has recorded a CD with his guitar duo Spatha entitled "Music for Two Guitars," and recently released his debut solo guitar album,
Timeless Moments. Brandon's current project is a progressive rock album titled
Headspace.
Brandon is a guitarist/composer committed to artistic integrity. His music is from the heart, and he is not afraid to use his imagination to take chances with his compositions. His compositions usually convey a story or message so the audience can share in a unique experience during a concert.
Brandon's playing is marked by rich warm tone and expressive lyricism. Brandon plays everything from classical music to progressive rock, jazz, gypsy jazz, fusion, blues, Latin, and funk. These styles all influence his solo guitar compositions and give the listener a great variety of moods and sounds.
